Trips
WWVA students have a variety of trip choices each year. We have created a rotation schedule to decrease costs for parents and students. We don't want you to pay for several large trips in a year.
Some trips happen every year, but the cost of those trips is minimal.
The rotation schedule is for trips that have a significant cost.
Trips for the 2026-2027 School Year
WWVA WRSHP Tour Group – November 5-8, 2026
The WWVA WRSHP Tour Group is embarking on a meaningful journey to the Orcas Island chapel to record and share their music with the community. This special trip will be filled with uplifting worship, joyful fellowship, and opportunities for spiritual growth as they come together to celebrate and share their faith through music.
​Washington DC Trip- November 10-22, 2026
WWVA will be offering the Washington, D.C., New York, and Boston tour. This exciting trip provides students with a unique opportunity to explore our nation's history, culture, and landmarks firsthand while gaining a deeper understanding of the events and people that have shaped our country.
WWVA WRSHP Tour Group – February 25-28, 2027
The WWVA WRSHP Tour Group is excited to embark on their annual journey to Portland, where they will share their faith and inspire others through music, worship, and praise. This special trip is an opportunity to connect with local communities, build meaningful relationships, and share a message of hope and encouragement through their God-given talents. Each year, this pilgrimage is a cherished experience that our group eagerly anticipates—a time of fellowship, worship, and making a positive impact through music.
Mission Trip- March 17-26, 2027
This school year, our enthusiastic students will embark on a mission trip to Belize. During their time there, they will use their talents to support a community building project, connect with local children, and share God's love through service, fellowship, and meaningful relationships. This life-changing experience will allow them to make a positive impact while growing in their faith and understanding of others.
Choir Tour - April 8-11, 2027
The choir is preparing for an exciting tour along the Oregon Coast this year! This memorable experience will provide opportunities for musical growth, performance, and fellowship. To help offset the cost of the trip, students will participate in a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year.​
Band Tour- May 4-7, 2027
This year, our band will embark on an exciting journey to Utah, traveling through Boise, Idaho, and Salt Lake City while sharing their musical talents with audiences along the way. Beyond performing, students will experience Utah’s stunning landscapes and natural wonders that make the state such a memorable destination.
A highlight of the trip will be a visit to Lagoon Amusement Park, one of America’s oldest amusement parks. Opened in 1886, Lagoon has hosted legendary performers including The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Ella Fitzgerald, and Evel Knievel during its nearly 140 years of operation. And, of course, there’s the challenge of trying to knock Banderson off his throne in the K1 electric kart racing competition!

Orchestra Tour- May 5-7, 2027
After an unforgettable tour of Europe last year, our Orchestra will be embarking on a closer-to-home adventure to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Surrounded by the area's stunning natural beauty, students will have the opportunity to perform and share their captivating music while enjoying the scenic landscapes and unique experiences this beautiful destination has to offer.​
European Literature Tour- June 7- 28, 2027
Our final trip of the year offers students and parents an unforgettable opportunity to experience the rich cultures, history, and artistic heritage of Europe. Beginning in England, travelers will explore London and gain insight into the settings that inspired many of Britain's greatest literary masterpieces.
The journey continues to Paris, where iconic landmarks and world-renowned attractions await. From there, the group will travel through Italy, visiting Milan, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, the picturesque Sorrento Coast, and the island of Capri. Along the way, participants will experience centuries of history, art, architecture, and culture while creating memories to last a lifetime.
Yearly Trips
SENIOR SURVIVAL- September 8-11, 2026
For four unforgettable days, our seniors will step into an extraordinary wilderness experience at Camp Ida Haven in McCall, Idaho. More than an adventure, Senior Survival is an opportunity for our students to grow closer as a class, develop essential life skills, and learn to face challenges together.

From building shelters to navigating the outdoors and working as a team, students will be challenged to step outside their comfort zones and discover their strength, resilience, and leadership. Through shared experiences, they will build confidence, deepen their friendships, and gain a greater appreciation for the unique role each person plays within their class.

Seniors will return from this experience stronger, more united, and strengthened in their faith—ready to embrace their final year of high school together, with God at the center of their journey. Most importantly, they will return with memories, lessons, and bonds that will last far beyond their senior year.
BACKPACKING- September 11-13, 2026
Backpacking is another cherished annual tradition that takes place each September. For three days, students disconnect from the distractions of everyday life and immerse themselves in God's creation while exploring the breathtaking Wallowa Mountains. This outdoor adventure provides opportunities for personal as well as spiritual growth, teamwork, reflection, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.
​​BIBLE CAMP- September 24-27, 2026
Sponsored by the Oregon Conference, Bible Camp is an exciting annual event held each September. Students spend four memorable days at Washington Family Ranch in Antelope, Oregon, where they participate in a variety of fun activities, enjoy inspiring music, and hear uplifting messages from dynamic speakers. Through fellowship, worship, and adventure, students grow in their faith and return home encouraged, refreshed, and inspired by God's love and message.​
​SENIOR TRIP- April 21-25, 2027
The Senior Class Trip is a special tradition and the final adventure the seniors will share together before graduation. Scheduled for late April, just before the busy season of semester exams and commencement activities, this trip provides an opportunity to create lasting memories with classmates. This year, the seniors will travel to Lincoln City, Oregon, enjoying scenic stops, exciting activities, and unforgettable experiences along the way.
