To prepare students for the second coming of Christ by instilling in each a love for God, for learning, for life, and for service. This is our mission.

August 26, 2010

Our first week is about completed.  It's gone well.  Each day there has been a block of time where students have participated in various get-aquainted activities.  On Friday evening, the 27th there will be a firebowl vespers and on Sabbath at 11:15 am there will be the first WWVA church of the year.  Speakers will be three mothers from the Praying Mothers group.  At 1:00 pm the Parent-Teacher Organization will host a potluck in the academy's multi-purpose room.

Senior Survival will take place September 14-19 in the backwoods of Camp Mivoden.   Seniors are preparing for this yearly exercise with both trepidation and expectation.

Think About It:

. . . Do you follow Christ with such passion that others are drawn to join the movement of God.  Are you a God magnet?  Do people watch your life and conclude, "Everywhere she goes, God shows us?"  But you know that the more accurate description is that everywhere God goes, you show up.
